Action plan for food losses and waste reduction in Sweden

The Swedish National Food Agency, in collaboration with the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency and the Swedish Board of Agriculture, has developed the action plan "More to do more" in order to reduce food waste throughout the whole food chain, including steps and actions that can be taken at all stages from the farm to the customer.

The action plan "More to do more" is part of the Swedish government's food strategy. The ongoing commission to the authorities for reducing food losses and waste extends over six years from 2020 to 2025.
